Liquid Carbon dioxide (CO2) Filling System
Flowmatics Liquid Carbon dioxide filling Systems are designed to fill liquid Carbon dioxide into cylinders. The system consists of a maximum of three weighing platforms and three high-pressure filling manifolds controlled by PLC.The system is operated for two platforms. The third platform can be used as standby unit for an emergency filling operation or can be used for filling a different quantity manually.

Operation
The operator places the cylinder on one of the two selected platforms and starts filling. While filling the first cylinder the operator sets the second cylinder on the next platform and the filling of this cylinder will start after the first one is filled. Any pair of platforms can be selected for filling and this selection is done through the keyboard.
The three weighing platforms are mounted flush with the floor level. Each platform is supplied with a high pressure-filling manifold mounted on the main process line. These manifolds have evacuation and compensation facilities to ensure accurate filling of the cylinders. The pneumatically operated filling valves in the manifold assembly gets cut off when the set weight is achieved. The system is also provided with RS 232 communication interface to print out details of the filling operations.
